Sheldon Wolf / Advancement Company, LLC

Sheldon Wolf is a marketing and development professional with 30 years experience in non-profit management. His work with theatres and museums includes his leadership of a successful $14 million capital campaign for the Springfield Library and Museums Association in Massachusetts and raising $75 million for the High Museum of Art.

He has been a frequent presenter on marketing and development issues at conferences around the country for organizations including the American Association of Museums, the New England Museum Association, the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, the Pennsylvania Federation of Museums and Historic Institutions, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, Suffolk University and the Southeast Museum Conference. For two years, he served as chairman of the 1100-member Development and Membership Committee of the American Association of Museums. In addition, he has been a grant review panelist for the Heritage Philadelphia Program administered by the Independence Visitor Center Corporation and funded by The Pew Charitable Trusts, and for Project Stream, a program of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

Sheldon has a strong interest in strengthening communities through nonprofit organizations, and he has served on numerous non-profit boards and committees.

Sheldon earned a degree of Master in Fine Arts (Directing) from Brooklyn College and a degree of Bachelor of Arts (Theatre-English) from Queens College. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
